New Journal Comic!
I've been working on a web/journal comic of sorts for a while now and am so excited to finally post the first few pages! (more to come soon) It is called "Our Place" and it is about my miscellaneous adventures this summer while working as a housekeeper at Lakeside Chautauqua in Ohio. These first two pages take place when I initially started out back at the end of May.
I have so many stories to share with you all (some I which I wish that I didn't have to experience). But I am excited for what the rest of the summer has to offer!
This one holds a special place in my heart because it basically sums up my experience so far at Lakeside - hard work/not the greatest of times but I have met some wonderful people and made really great friends! This one is for you Story!

Space Blimp Design

EVEN MORE Character Designs!
Man its a good thing I love designing characters because thats basically what I've been doing lol. So these characters are for my '3D Character Design' class and have been developing them since mid March and hopefully in the next week-2 weeks I will start modeling one of them! (still don't know which one I should model???) So yeah, for now I will just post the exploration stuff. :)
First off is "the Captain" I still am trying to figure out a name for her but for now am referring her to as "the Captain" and yes she is a captain of a pirate ship. She is a really spontaneous and expressive 12-13 year old and she is protective of her crew.
Next is the 1st mate (name still to be determined) and he gives off this "brute-silent type" vibe but has a soft spot for the Captain.
Merman (name to be determined) is a close friend to the Captain and loves to go on adventures with her and the 1st mate.

MORE Character Design - Toonboom
Okay, so for my 2D animation class we got to choose characters and design them! :D I got a "monster-esque male" so yeah. The first is my exploration sheet and I ended up going with to the second one on the left.

Aaaaannnnnd to finish off is my first animation with this character ! I really like how it turned out and wow I love character animation.

Stag Pegasus Final Design
Above is my final design for the video game concept project thingy. It's special attack (which is in the top corner) is it hits you with it's front sparkly-glowy hooves.

Jungle Environment

Stag/Pegasus Concepts!
Above are some exploration sketches/studies of possible design for a (hypothetical) mini boss for a (hypothetical) game.

Hand Study - practice!
Here are some hand studies !
Man - its weird to think that at one point (in my early stages of my artistic journey) I hated to draw hands so much that I would hide them behind other things and whenever I did draw them they would be WAY TO SMALL like creepily small. But now I feel (at least more) confident in my ability to draw hands and wow improvement man - its a beautiful thing!

Hair & Costume Studies!
Above are some hair and costume studies for the character that was chosen for me! Her name is "Ratu" and she its the Queen of an Indonesian village!
This is for my advanced Concept & Design class that is probably my favorite class this semester to be honest. There are so many talented people in the class and I feel challenged by the assignments - its fantastic. :D
