Re-watched Aladdin because of reasons. Then I watched the deleted scenes/songs and immediately fell in love with "Proud of Your Boy".

  I secretly wish they kept the song but I understand why they didn't

3 Self Portraits

Here are my 3 self portraits for my Storyboard & Concept class. My assignment was to draw a realistic (use photo reference) version of me then draw two stylized ones that I will use the rest of the semester. I love how these all turned out!

Herb Gatherer Character Turn-Around

So here is my turn around for my eccentric herb gatherer! 

I really like how this turned out! I simplified his look a little and made his hair wings so that's gonna be fun. yay for consistency

Well, next is my self portraits for Leeper's class and can't wait to start up a mini comic series this semester! :D

Concept Art for Herb Gatherer Character

So in my Animation 2 class we had to choose/design a character that we would animate with throughout the course of the semester. And the "theme" of the types of characteristics that our characters could have was medieval/fantasy and there were a list of characteristics that we were able to choose from (like "orphan gang leader", "delinquent ogre", and "confused barmaid" etc). So I chose "eccentric herb gatherer" - which I am very happy and excited about!

So without further ado -  here are my 5 concept art sketches:

Then after presenting these in front of the class/my professor I decided on the last one (the old man) but it was a close tie with the 4th one (the chubby girl lol)! I'm very happy with my choice and am super pumped to animate him this semester! :D I'll be posting a turn-around of him in the next post!

Terrible Robot Designs~

Above are 8 robot designs I had to do for my 3D animation class since we will be animating a robot as an ongoing project throughout the semester.  My favorite ones are #s 3,6,7 all the other ones are hideous. I am terrible at drawing robots (as you can tell). :[ I just can't draw robots. 

  well at least I know what I should work on and here's to better drawn robots

Back to School!!

Well, today ends my first week back at HU. Lots of drawing - as well as lots of fun! I'm so pumped for this semester! I guess the class I'm most excited about is my Animation 2 class because all we are doing in that class is doing 2D character animation! (YESS!) But sinceriously, I love HU and my roommate and am so glad that I'm back (but I do desperately miss my friends and family back home in CA )T_T)).

But anyways, I'm back to posting weekly again! So expect some posts of concept drawings soon! :D

Korra - Color Palette Time!

Made this because I was inspired by a meme/challenge I found on tumblr where you pick a random color pallette and a pose of these charts and draw something!~ 

So which is why I drew Korra - needless to say, it was super fun to do and plan to do many more in the future! :)
